Body language is everything, Richard. It usually says more than our words. I would love to have someone listen to me like that!!!
Richard Trim: I think some body language is very difficult to decode as different moods and emotions can be very closely matched in the way they are expressed. Polite listening and slightly bored OR totally absorbed ... richard
You're dead right there Richard: this is fascinating stuff
Richard Trim: Spot on Chris ... richard
'No ways, what are you telling me?'. Either that or she is listening to a description of the quantum theory.
I feel the composition would improve if the white jacket on the left was lost in a crop.
Richard Trim: You're absolutely right about the crop Louis ... I was so wrapped up in the two women and doing a bw conversion ..that it wasn't noticed. richard
A lot of dearness in this shot Richard! Body language says it all. Fine capture. Richard
Richard Trim: Many thanks Richard ... I'm a little uncertain of how you were using 'dearness' in your comment. richard
She has an interesting face, Richard.
Richard Trim: An interesting face in lots of ways Chad. richard
Nice and simple ..
Richard Trim: Thanks Shakara. richard
Good composition Richard - I admire your nerve!
Richard Trim: Maybe there is a very fine line between creative nerve and having a death wish! richard
I agree a tighter crop would improve the composition. These candid shots are fascinating.
Ingrid
Richard Trim: I totally agree about the left hand crop. Thanks Ingrid. richard
Nice shot! The muted tones fit the image, but it could use some noise reduction.
Richard Trim: In a funny way Martin I like the noise. It sort of softens the whole atmosphere of the image. richard
Nice shot Richard but the tones are a bit too muted for me., sorry.
Richard Trim: Glad to have your opinion Brian ... as always. richard
This is really interesting body language. Her face says interested and hanging on every word but her body is turned away. Where's a Psychologist when you need one. Great little series Richard...hope you do some more
Richard Trim: Yes, slightly mixed messages being projected ... but isn't that a really common trait of humans.
No doubt I will Bill ... My word you give me so much encouragement ... Firstly scaffolding ;-) and now a suggestion for another series on these lines. I guess you know which will appear first. richard
she seems less interested in whats been said then he did yesterday lol, love the conversion Richard well done.
Richard Trim: I like your take on this tim... but we can't besure for certain can we. richard
A good series indeed, you are bolder man than me, i would be to scared that they see me. Did you use the camera in your glasses
Richard Trim: Smiles ..if only Nigel. Thanks richard
I really like these three photographs. Reading the body language is fascinating, and whole stories can be woven with the imagination. Really excellent. (:o)
Richard Trim: Many thanks Roz. richard
Well seen, the body "expression" is really interresting indeed !
Initially, I thought that her feet were pointing away from the speaker, so she must want to leave. Then, I had a closer look and realised that there's not space in there for both of them to seat with their legs under the table. Perhaps the listener arrived after the speaker so had no space for her legs... that's enough speculation for now
If the white jacket had been cropped out, then I would not have been able to make a story. It gives the situation a context. I like this a lot!! |
