I think you should occasionally dabble with the unconventional Richard
Richard Trim: I might dip my big toe in from time to time Chris. richard
Much stronger this way!
Richard Trim: Thanks Martin This is much more my style ... but a mild manic moment never did anyone any harm. richard
I might be too conventional Richard, but I much prefer this one. Great atmosphere here! Richard
Richard Trim: Even the most conventional jump of the rails at least one ... but they always seem to jump back on. cheers richard
Ditto Richard. The subtlety of the light and shade was totally lost in yesterday's, but I love this one.
Ingrid
Richard Trim: Certainly today's image took a lot more thought ... and actually I prefer it as well. I feel safe now
Yesterday's was great fun but this is the real deal (whatever that means!) I like this very much Richard
Richard Trim: Thanks Bill. Don't worry Bill all this double trouble stuff only happens with a lunar eclipse. Think we have to wait till 2010 for the next one ... so the shades can come of for a while. richard
This is much more enjoyable to look at Richard. I love the apparent rim lighting down the persons left hand side
Richard Trim: I was shooting directly into the sun Brian. cheers richard
rush of blood lol, this is the real deal Richard,so much more pleasurable to look at
Richard Trim: Just a mad moment Tim ... Sanity and conventionalism has returned ;-) richard
I love this Shot Richard.
Richard Trim: Shooting into the sun often creates a special feel to the image. I've done quite alot of it in recently as you will soon find out. cheers richard
hmmm, dunno how you would've worked it but i wouldve liked it if the sky was in bw...
anyway, i do really like this shot...
Richard Trim: Thanks Sam. I have got a pure b&w version but was interested to give a warmth to the image by injecting a suspicion of sepia tone to it . Cheers richard
Ah, I like this, but then I like always contre jour. Not as much 'attitude' as yesterday's though.
Richard Trim: Lol over 'attitude' ...no this is me being conventional sensible and thoughtful.
Personally I prefer this version... it's a far, far better treatment than yesterday's
Richard Trim: Thanks Mark. It was given considered treatment ... Yesterday's was just a manic moment of button pressing. I have smacked my wrist for being so badly behaved ;-) richard
In the last few weeks I have picked up interest in taking pictures into the sun and specific to get the sun outlines on the subject as here. Seeing your madness picture, I saw those outlines and was thinking of a mono, something like this (which you probably had up as a pre-blog on Friday). Or maybe not.
Excellent picture and light play.
Richard Trim: Me too Louis. ... Shooting into the sun using/back lighting creates such a vast potential for interesting light play and silhouette or semi-silhouette people outlines. I already had a variety of versions of this woman on the platform. I actually intend to do a series ''into the sun'' sometime. Thanks richard
lol - i like this version, very mooy. mal
Richard Trim: 'mooy' ? ... not had many bovine comments before mal ;-) richard
