A good viw of these people cowering from the rain. Similar in style to your recent series.
Richard Trim: You should know by now Chad that this is the kind of stuff I really like doing.

I have to say I really love this image. Fine perspective and the black and white works quite well here Richard. Neat and Tidy, poster quality smile
Richard Trim: Hey be careful SAVO... those three stooges can get nasty ...Ha kidding.

Pleased you really like it ... so do I.

richard

But I don't see it raining? Where are the raindrops or the streams of rain? Funny the different gestures of the umbrella-persons!
Richard Trim: I think the rain was easing off by then ... Funny lot the Brits.

;-) richard
Ha ha ha - I love this, it has such humour even without the commentary. Look at those stoical expressions, and the attitudes. You were right to make this b&w - colour would not have worked.

I am still smiling over it and think I have to put this in my likeys. Thank you.
Richard Trim: I think it has something special . Thanks Sheila.

If it is really raining (you know I'm a bit doubting because I often saw that people use an umbrella although it is not raining longer) the newspaper of the gentleman/banker might be totally wet and perhaps unreadable- but it doesn't matter, many news are quickly 'snow from yesterday' as we say!
Richard Trim: There is a fictional detective, conceived by the author Agatha Christie, called Monsieur Poirot who had a wonderful observational style to find ''the murderer''.
Philine, your observational skills and deduction make you a contender to become Madame Poirot.
Ha! richard
Quite right, too! That's what made the Empire! The three figures work well here; an odd no. is always best.
Richard Trim: Very astute Alan. richard

Hahaha, Richard, as teacher I had some nick names: one of them was " Miss Marple", I would prefer to be the younger Mrs. Poirot! As I was in Devon I heard some things about the Grand Old Lady Agatha Christie (I should read some crime stories again!), nowadays you can visit her property- manor house near Torquay (NT)! At the moment I read Sir A. Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes, The Hound of the Baskervilles" after having visited the very impressive, lonely- rough Dartmoor! Yes, the observing of human beans is one of my delights! And sometimes I see more than other persons, indeed!
Richard Trim: I think you were priveledged to be called Miss Marple ... Your students obviously appreciated you as a teacher and a person.

richard
It doesn't seem as if the intrepid photographer was put off either Richard.
Richard Trim: You should know me by now Brian .... ;-) richard

What a story in an image, Richard! This is delightful.
Richard Trim: That's good then Ginnie ... when's the novel being published?

richard
This is all I ever see these days. Caught from a good angle Richard.
Richard Trim: Wales (It is Wales you live in ...isn't it?) does have sunny days ... er doesn't it;-) richard
The story of our summer encapsulated in a single image, just like the pier in Southport yesterday.
Richard Trim: Well you do live on the west side of England. richard
Superb composition and capture. A likey for me. A very British shot tongue
Richard Trim: Many thanks f'.
cheers richard
