Haha- my diversion might be the collecting of stones hour for hour while walking along the beach- a fascination since my childhood- and I'll take the most beautiful ones with me- I possess a great collection at home- thanks to you that you have captured 'my' stones so sharply! A nice weekend to you (I am enjoying a cultural weekend: Goethe, Faust II, and Mozart, Wedding of Figaro"!)
Richard Trim: I'm a great collecter of aesthetic pebbles and stoneas well Philine . I carried several in my ruck sac whilst on a days walking up in the Cumbrian Fells ( Lake District). They are real beauties and weighed nearly two kg each . Browse my 'pebbles in the window' during March '08.
I also have several baskets of smaller and almost symmmetrical ones .. It's an addictive past time. Enjoy your high culture. I'm driving back to Leicester today. Thanks richard
I want one, you cant beat a BIG Tonka. Abandoned, washed up or appropriated?
Richard Trim: When's your birthday Al' . richard
I trust it has two forward and a reverse with auto powershift. Lovely image , might head up to the seafront tomorrow in fact... southwold or dunwich ?
Richard Trim: That sounds too technical for me I grew up with push and pull and a good imagination. ;-) This was Southwold if I remember correctly ( a couple of years ago ). Cheers John. richard
After the comments I have received about an innocent game of skittles. What this lot will make of a Tonka I shudder to thinktongue
Richard Trim: They'll love it .. I never had one ... I was born too long ago. richard
Super capture Richard. Nice to see that we remain children somehow! Cheers. Richard
Richard Trim: Hey Richard ... it weren't mine. ;-) richard
nice idea.
the legs in the background add some lightness as well
cheers
Rob
Richard Trim: I agree Rob ... it also help put it into a context. cheers richard
Lovely bright, brash colours of the truck stand out well against the soft colours of the beach shingle. Nice!
Richard Trim: Thanks Sheila ... yes the colours do work well together. cheers richard
My Grandson would have a great time with this truck and all that shingle Richard. I like the strong colours of the truck.
Let me tell you : That is not a real one !!!
