Wiggly fence

This an opportunity  to link the start of my next  hod-load  of offerings with a promise to Tracy, made sometime ago, to show her 'my  wiggle' .

'hod load '' ?    I hear you ask .... All will be revealed tomorrow.

OMG, Richard. This is fabulous. It's a Likey for me!
Richard Trim: Thanks Ginnie, My walking buddy that day said, as I was reading the map, '' Hey Rich, you like simple structures take the fence.'' Little did he realize. richard.
Ah classic. Paths, perspective, shadow, rural, monatone. Wonderful, Richard
Richard Trim: Really Chad! ...All of those things in one of my images. Many thanks richard

got to agree with Chad,as i said to Rosalyn in this world of colour we life in we revert to mono to get feeling, atmosphere etc across in a photo, weirdsmile
Richard Trim: I'm in a fairly dominant B & W capsule at the moment ... I just find it so satisfying. Thanks Tim. richard
Great shadow play Richard. I love the perspective headind to the trees. Definitly a likey for me too. Richard
Richard Trim: Thanks Richard. Well it was the shadows that were the catalyst for me. cheers richard

Phenomenal picture, I kept looking at it, love the B&W we don't need color in this one, bravo
Richard Trim: There seems to be so much ''colour'' in this black and white image ... if you get my drift Astrid. cheers richard
Great choice of B&W here Richard. I like the shadow effect.
Richard Trim: Thanks Bernie....I think you might be interested in my theme starting tomorrow. cheers richard

This came pretty close to a likey for me. The be improved for me is how you handle the sky at the back. Either have the trees in with more sky, or crop to exclude the sky. Depending on the original.

Please understand I am commenting on the difference between great and excellent. It is a great shot and the fence shadow into the distance is way good.
Richard Trim: Thanks Louis ... Really useful comments for me. I'll certainly fiddle a bit more. cheers richard

Great range of tones. A classic, atmospheric B&W print. Like Louis I find the whiteness of the sky quite distracting. Can you tone it down or add some clouds?
Richard Trim: Good point Ron. I'll do my best. cheers richard

Spread the word Richard ;o) If everything was black and white it would be a simpler world lol ;o)

So is the series wiggles, shadows or lanes??? Oh ok Hod load as well?
Richard Trim: Don't worry Mike I'm doing just that.
Ha! ... Glad you are having as much trouble working out my little conundrum as I did over your last 'film take' series. ;-) richard
Fantastic shot, so much to see and enjoy. (:o)
Richard Trim: Thanks Ros, and as is so ubiquitously said 'enjoy' smilerichard

Like it!

Amazing that without the shadow the fence looks straight!

Dare I say I'd have cropped out the patch of concrete?
Richard Trim: Thanks Ellie. I would have been disappointed if you hadn't said it. I pondered over that as well ... but in the end I decided that the proportions were better as it is now. cheers richard
Well sight! I like this turning!
Richard Trim: Jose... many thanks. richard
