Oh wow, Richard! This has so much mood to it for me. A total LIKEY!
Richard Trim: Clearing fog and assertive early morning sun do create a magical atmosphere. Thanks Ginnie and more thanks for the likey. richard.
Brilliant image, and a bit different to my seaside series.
Richard Trim: This series have been taken over the last five months and it's good that we see the British seaside from different perspectives. cheers richard.

I would like to know what there is behind ... Nice contrast between the stairs and the curve ... B&W is a clever choice as well. Nice photo !!! Ann
Richard Trim: Thanks Ann. The immediate hinterland behind the sea wall is rather scruffy but there are low-lying marshes a bit further away full of birdlife. richard.

I'm with Ann here I would love to know what's behind that wall. It's an amazing shot Richard.
Richard Trim: Scarlet, Sometimes when I first take a shot and have more of the area wrapped around it I don't realise how powerful the image itself can be.(if you get my drift). Thanks richard.
Great image Richard
Richard Trim: Glad you like it Mr B. richard.

Great one, R. The lines and the mood are fantastic here. Did you happened to get any without the people? Not that I don't like them in the photograph, but this place is amazing as is your image.
Richard Trim: I think it would work without people but perhaps different 'fiddling about'. But you know my thing about including people at the moment K'. Thanks for your fine words ...they are always appreciated. richard.
Excellent image with these diagonals
Richard Trim: Richard Thanks. richard.
What wonderful atmosphere in this one. Beautifully composed, too. I like this very much. (:o)
Richard Trim: Fog, bright sunrise and the sound of breaking waves .... it's the recipe for something Ros. Thanks richard.

Really good use of those powerful diagonals.

You know, I've always wondered whether the steps are part of the flood defences or a deliberate design for an uncomfortable place to sit. wink
Richard Trim: Ellie, The civil engineering knowledge just flows from you. ;-)
I've sat on those steps ... I don't particularly remember having a problem so it must be your soft south coast upbringing that makes you worry ... Nah kidding.
;-) richard.
