Driving to Suffolk at the beginning of June a flash of red caught the furthest peripheral point in my eye. A double look and then a left turn down a single track lane led me, in less than a quarter of a mile, to this field of wild poppies.
Coincidently the car that had been following me on the main road also came down the lane and stopped ... Twenty seconds later two nurdy photographers were snapping away at this glorious vision.
